Inside MLB the Show's Most Popular Website
The guys at ShowZone provide an invaluable resource to MLB the Show players.
When playing MLB The Show it’s imperative to take in as much information as possible.
There’s so much news to keep up with every day, and we take pride in talking about as much as we can in regards to chasing cards, flipping stubs, etc.
One of the best go-to resources for the MLB The Show community is ShowZone. As a newbie to Diamond Dynasty, I find Showzone very helpful and essential to building your team. Gratefully, we were able to chat with them about the resources they provide for us Show fanatics.
To put it simply, it’s a third-party website that provides tips and data analysis for MLB The Show. You can enjoy their services for free or support them by making a donation. With their optional memberships, you do get a higher level of services, and they are incredibly helpful.
They work tirelessly to predict which players are currently undervalued and guess which ones should be considered to be purchased now. In addition to that, the free version lists players rated bronze, while the paid service lists any player silver or better. Free of charge, they provide up-to-date information about which cards have the best margins in case you’d like to flip.
In case you didn’t know, ShowZone is a team of developers. It has come a long way since it began just a few years ago just prior to COVID-19.
“Showzone was started by Corey during MLB The Show 19 - at the time, it was called "The-Show-Zone". I (Jeremy Englert) joined on before the 2021 season after running into Corey on Reddit and realizing we were working on a lot of the same things. Shane was brought aboard as a developer as well a couple of years ago,” says Englert.
One thing I love about the site the most is it is one of the best at meeting our needs as fellow gamers. Their website caters to both the everyday player, and players like me that have a few kids running around and only play when they can. As a fan of the website, I was curious what they expect a first-time viewer to experience if they visit their platform.
“Our goal is to always be adding new features and content based on the needs of the community. When users come to our site, they should be able to get more information about MLB The Show than they ever imagined. Whether that's advanced data on the best cards or learning how to flip/make stubs,” adds Englert.
As I’ve mentioned before, MLB The Show has made tremendous strides in improving gameplay. However, this year, my excitement for the game seems to have dwindled slightly earlier than it did for last year’s release. I realize everyone has their own likes and dislikes in the game, but I wanted to know what they love about it.
“This has been an interesting year, for sure. Content has always been something MLB The Show did very well, seems much slower/spread out this year.
But in general, I think one of my favorite parts of the game is how many different ways people enjoy it. You obviously have the hardcore competitive players, but you also have the players who just enjoy the card-collecting aspect or players who enjoy hustling the market. Seeing the different ways people enjoy the game has always been fascinating to me,” says Englert.

It was a pleasure catching up with them and digging into such an important resource in the MLB The Show community. Also, be sure to have some fun and check out their team builder.
